Hey Ladies! (gentlemen)

Hope everyone is doing well. I hear there's going to be a fall swap! Yay... more fun-filled conversation and pretty things to admire. I'm thinking about trying to hook while at softball practice with my girl. I'd like to be able to make some dish towels. I figure there's no timeline on when I have to have it done, so why not try. Besides no one has to see it but me if it's hideous! LOL Do any of you know an EASY, and I do stress the word EASY, pattern that I could find locally? Where should I look for it at? I know absolutely nothing about hooking other than what I've read on here so be gentle with me. Don't go blowing my mind with all these abbreviations or hook talk. I'm a virgin hooker... (sorry couldn't resist) and I need you to be gentle! LOL

I can't wait to hear what you all suggest! Have a great weekend!

I am glad that scrambled egg and wildsky enjoyed our recycling efforts! They are sturdy boxes- I plan on shipping eggs in pampers boxes as much as possible!

Mine were mailed today - not in a Pampers box, haven't had one of those for about 18 years. I did not tuck in my ends either. We don't care - mine are not perfect either. I have been crocheting since I was 9, and I am (don't tell) 56, and this is the first time I have done granny squares- - it is great - - I can hook on the rapid transit on the way to work - one square a day. Will join the fall swap, but will start now. Can't wait to see what we all do with our squares. Thank you Darlene, even though I don't post much I have really enjoyed this!!!
