happy b-day wegot, and good morning ya'll hope everyones doing fine, I am a bit under the weather but hope to be back up and moving soon, I finished my daughters monkey that I was making and will post pics of it soon, and have 2 more rows on my mothers day blanket for mom and have already started on a monster for my youngest daughter ( she loves monsters inc.)and as for new patterns ladies try looking up crocheted granny squares on google and you will find a ton of cool new easy patterns and don't be afriad to try any of them, I did and found a whole bunch of new ones that I just love and found to be easy than the intsructions looked. I have one stitch that i still have not been able to master and thats the bullion stitch, it has me nearly pulling my hair out, but I am going to master it no matter what, theres this real pretty pattern granny thats called the irish rose that uses it and i want to make an afhgan with it so I am going to get it mastered. well thats enough chattering. I finally got that bullion stitch down with the granny square pattern I was going to make and truthfully I didnt care a flip for how it looked so I scraped the effort. It is a pain, good luck!

Molly and Spirit had their baby last night!!!! He is just drop dead gorgeous ( IMNSHO, of course). It was an unplanned pregnancy(shhh! don't tell the neighbors!!). Spirit was young, and went over the gate while I was gone to the house for 45 minutes....

Anyway, Iam here typing to avoid helping my brother and his friend work on setting fence posts!!! I was up until 2:30 with her, and I did not know they were coming today!!

All I really want to do is pet the baby and sit in the house! LAZY!! and allergies are giving me FITS!!

I'll post pics when DH gets home....I am a computer idiot, and don't know how to get them off the camera.....

I got some new patterns and yarn and made a new square last night--It was fun but kinda hard being as I just taught myself to crochet for this swap---I have been having a hard time with the corner where you end up at,,,,even with the granny squares a little---there always seems to be extra material at that corner and it bunches up,,,,whats up with that? any suggestions? this one I cant skip a stich or 2 to make it flat like I would with the granny squares

LOL! Not a problem Shelly! I'm sure they will be here in plenty of time. I'm sending them all out that weekend of the 17th. Got all the stitch markers sorted and bubble wrapped and packed in little bags and as soon as everyone's squares are here, I can make the list and get them sorted and packed. Scared to do any sorting until I know theya re ALL here otherwise the last person's squares wont get mixed in. Hopefully they will all be here before the 17th weekend..if not, you sure need to let me know they are on the way! Thanks ya'll..some pretty squares here!!

Hello everyone! I was also late getting mine in the mail.

I got them sent off yesterday Priorty. I sent Scrambled an e-mail to let her know. I'm so sorry. Bad, bad hooker! I tweaked my back and just wasn't able to get to the P.O. until Mon.

I sent 35 squares off and I tied my avatar pic to each one to help Scrambled w/ the sorting. If anyone doesn't get one of mine that wants one please E-mail or PM me and I'll be glad to make and send one to you. I figure I might be a few short for everyone to have one if everyone on the list participates. I didn't want to hold up the sorting, so wanted to go ahead and mail in what I had. Just let me know.
