Wildsky, I love your blocks, good job. I did see somewhere that they said they had a tutorial video. I didn't go there as I have dial up and videos take forever. I think if you just typed in that you were looking for a video tutorial to show you how to crochet it would come up. I am headed for bed or I would look it up for you.

Mamaboyd..you are officially "in"!!!! And I am steady begging SloCrevs too, lol!!! 20 squares will not really take up that much time, no kidding ya'll, and you don't have to make afghans out of the squares you receive...sloCrevs is right, make whatever you want, a purse, a scarf (granny square scarves are so popular..just hook them together!), a pillow, a lapghan, a vest....there are so many patterns for free on the internet you will be overwhelmed!! Go crazy!!!

Yes, keep joining up anyone that wants to...we'll close the sign up sometime Wednesday.

Hi everybody, count me in I am working on an afgan right now but I can but it on hold for a byc granny square swap Oh Yea!. I have several colors I can do green, blue, pink, yellow, rainbow,...etc....lol! I Looooooooove it! scrammble this is a wonderful Idea Thanks so much, I think I will but BYC on my squares just to remeber the fun that will go in to this project.

So we need to have them sent in to you by April 23 is that right or do we need to have them done by April 23? Also what is the Name and address we need to send them too? I have 3 done already oh I love this I am so excited when you send us back our set after sorting them out will we have all different kinds from everyone or what this is my first online swap I've do 3 here in my home town with the busybee club, and I had so much fun can't wait.

No, you are not the only younger one doing this, although I am 37 yrs old, I guess I'm still young!!

I look forward to doing this too, I have all kinds of odds and ends of yarn to use up, and if I run out, my mom has a stock pile of yarn in her basement I can raid! Lets see how much I can get done while the kids are home on March Break this week,

Well, Chickkide, you are certainly younger than ME, that's for sure, lol!!! But no, Peeps7 is the youngest, and has you beat by quite alot. Actually there is a demographic page somewhere on the forum that has the average age of the membership from mid-thirties to mid-forties I think, so lots and lots of folks with your stats!! Welcome to the swap, thrilled to have you!!!! With my camera demise, I had to get a picture of my squares with my son's cell phone (that was pulling teeth!!) so, the picture is not the greatest quality but this will just show you that there are other options than the center circle start on a granny square...I'm really thinking that is what is frustrating the new folks...so don't do those, pick a different pattern that runs straight across and if you get in a jam there is a wealth of knowledge here, so just ask, no problem. No sure where that April 23rd date came from but just have all your squares to me by May 1st. Whenever you finish just pm me for my address and make sure you send an additional SESE for your return squares after the big sorting (like Harry Potter with the sorting hat, lol!!!).
