most of mine are just straight back and forth across and then I am cross stitching in a pattern on that. But I am going to be brave and confident that I am going to do a fancy pattern, have it come out square yet!

Yeah, Jess's pattern is my favorite and it is so easy!! Chain 21, sc in second chain from hook and each chain (20 sc), chain 4 turn (counts as dc and chain 1) skip next sc, dc chain one and skip next sc across. chain one and turn. sc in first stitch and in each dc and chain across. finish off. then weave em together and sc around.

I managed to squeeze one more in last night so I am up to 10. I can't believe some of you are finished

I only have 9 completed, but have started #10. I hope to get some done at dd's soccer game today. That's so cool that you taught Jess to crochet. I've tried to teach my daughter. I'm going to try again b/c I feel like it's a lost art.

Chicken Theif.....your pattern is really awesome.

Keep up the good work. I love it....very, very cute!!!!! I'll have to show my dd to inspire her.

Scrambled.....Thanks again for starting this....I'm having soooooo much fun learning how to do this. I can't believe I never did a granny square before.

Ok, off to hooking I go. I'll check back in later in the afternoon.

Well everyone is so happy here being little "happy hookers" , I've decided I want to stir up a little trouble! LOL!

I would like to know a little more about each of you and a pic of you would be great so I can put names with faces.

I'll start

I'm Jacie (pronounced Jackie)

I have been with DH for 9 years - I have a 16 year old daughter that lives with her grandparents.

I love fixing up my house and working on my crafts, love all my critters and spoil them rotten, love to plant flowers and watch them grow

I am 35 - DH is 31.

I also love growing my hair long and than sending it to the Locks-of-Love foundation to made into wigs for those battling cancer.

Julie

Julie: I think that's a wonderful thing you do with your hair. I'm afraid if I did that my hubby would divorce me! LOL!

I have been doing it for 3 years now - I am going this weekend to have the pony tail measured and if it is long enough - off it goes !! they would like it to be at least 10inch. I cut it once when it is long enough - give it a trim during the summer - than after that let it grow all during the colder months and do it all over again.

so I am not able to color my hair or do anything fancy with it like get a perm - but that is fine with me.

DH loves that I am doing this and I think he would like to try and grow a pony tail so the next time I go and can add a tail of his own ! ( dont know if he will be able to do it or not )

Julie

ChicKn Thief that is an awesome square and nice spring colors!

Julie I like that pic.

I will be watching my grand kids(2 girls) for a few days so I will probably not be crocheting too much in the next days. I may try to teach the older one Rylee how to crochet if she wants

only if the younger one Madison cooperates. Madison likes to carry my chickens around.
