Great idea Jacie! I'll have to dig one up of me. I'm always the one on the other end of the camera.

Jacie & Julie, nice pics. Julie, my husband does the same thing w/ his hair. LOL!!! His & dd grows so think, long & fast. I'm trying to grow mine out, but want to chop it. It can't grow fast enough. What cute breed are you holding in your pic?

Hey Tiki, I forgot to say WELCOME!!!!!!!!

Here are my 1st four squares. I am working on another today that I started in the car on the way back home Friday. My DH didn't like my joke that I was 'Hooking my way from Raleigh to Edenton' on our trip back home Friday! The purple does not show up true-to-color and I haven't woven in ends yet. Jessica

Smitty's Farm :

That's so cool that you taught Jess to crochet. I've tried to teach my daughter. I'm going to try again b/c I feel like it's a lost art.

Yes, I think it is a lost art also, very well put. I taught myself to crochet when I was about 7 and tried to teach Jess when she was that old, but she is left handed and I had a really hard time teaching her, wound up getting a book with pics for her and she took to it quickly. I also taught Austin and Caity to crochet. Austin is doing great!! He finished 2 scarves and he is now working on a really cool blanket, see pic. Don't you know all those big burly football dudes crochet to improve eye hand coordination and fine motor skills!! Caity has learned some of the basic stitches and is working on a scarf also. It is beyond cool that we all can stare at pattern books for hours and talk about all the different color yarns etc.

Boy we have a bunch of camera shy people except for Julie and I. At least tell us a little something about yourself. I hate just knowing screennames.

If this ol lady can post a picture so can ya'll. LOL!

jeaucamom: I can see you have some talented kids!
