That does not seem fair about the postage, sorry!! I've always found the post from Canada to be about $3.00 more than whatever ours was. One person did send hers in an envelope, the rest have been in a box.
I got started on another project last night, seemed funny to not be doing granny squares!! Have a great day, outta here early today, happy hookin!!!

I hooked in the dentist's office on Friday.
I hooked in the living room, in front of a nice fire in the fireplace, while chicks peeped contentedly from their brooder this weekend.
And last night I hooked on front of my rebellious teen while forcing her to do her classwork in my presence. I think my calm hooking is what convinced her that she may as well do the homework if she ever wanted to get up from that table again

Making slow but steady progress. Will get more done this week than ever, since the homework battle will be repeated daily until she gets the message. She can do it the hard way or she can do it the easy way, but she WILL get her work done!

OK - someone really needs to kick me in the behind so I can get my squares done.

Better yet, give me a winning lottery ticket so I don't have to work anymore (it needs to be at least $500,000 to pay off all my debt and give me a nice buffer)

Then I can live a life of relative leisure - ONLY taking care of the kids, critters, house, my other 3 part time jobs AND I can get my squares done.

well I have 6 more squares done and this time I didn't fall asleep

and they are actually granny squares too. yea! well Project all most don't just gotta let the paint dry the put it togather.

Greentree did you ever get a chance to see if your brother would sell some dom eggs and the price I am still really interested.

I was thinking that this thread could be moved over to the "Me , My Family, my Chicken" That way at the end we can just keep it going! I have had so much fun reading and talking to every one I would love to see to get going!

By the way, I will be sending my SQ. in last min. The cast comes off on the 17th

if the bone looks good. I really want to do at least a couple more of my own. Terri was so great to step in and help but I feel s so bad that that had to happen. I almost need to make a couple more.....

Ohmygosh! I liked to have NEVER found this thread. LOL I really think when there are this many BYC members involved in any swap, it SHOULD be a sticky. I'm not sure why the crochet swap thread seemed more appropriate under "Me, My Family, My Chickens" instead of under the "Buy, Sell, Trade, Give Away" though. You all are trading granny squares. Regardless, glad to have found you all again. Coming from a woman who deals in seriousness all day long at the hospital, this is welcome wonderful part of my day. Thank you to the BYC creators and moderators for allowing us the privelege of sharing with each other in this silly, yet meaningful way!

Maybe we can come up with a recipe swap or something next. Hey! I can contribute to that one!
