Darlene, seems like everyone wants to have at least one square from everybody else, so why don't we make the same # of squares as there are people?

Of course this won't be known until sometime Wednesday.

Sadly, it took me a couple of minutes to remember what CRS was. I was about to reread the thread when I remembered. Sheesh...

LOL!!!

I truly CRS!!!! So funny!!

What I don't want to do is run anybody off that has joined the swap with the intention of making 20 squares and then to be told they now have to make 35 (I'm figuring at least 2 more people will join before wednesday and that should put us at 35). It would be more special to have one from every person and yes, jc we need to figure a way to mark everyone's square (we briefly talked about it but never decided how exactly!).

So, keep thinking about it ---and weighing in your opinions too---and when all the folks are signed up wednesday we'll make a final decision on the number of squares... in the mean time, keep crankin 'em out!!!

Got one more whipped out. Hamb. still not thawed, so will have to work on one more for awhile.

See how easy it is to rationalize a reason to work on this project, lol!!!

35 is fine with me. I'm finished with the 20 so I'll start on some more.

Can we do different patterns. I'm kinda bored with this one! LOL!

Go crazy girl!!! If we can figure a way to label whose are whose the pattern wont matter, truthfully probably wont matter anyway since most grannies look just alike! Whatever you think fast fingers, I think they'll be just great!

yes i will do the 20 squares, but i can not do granny squares. i think this will be alot of fun!!

I think it would be fun to have one square from everyone just let me know what i need to do.

Well I now understand what you meant about the two shells in the corners, but only after my park ranger whos done this for 20 yrs explained it too me then showed me how to do it. So I got one done and its Square

I think you might scare folks if you now ask them to make more squares.

For those that are happy to do more - KEEP GOING - you can make up the difference

I'll make as many as I can - but have been VERY busy hatching chicks today - still on my 12th square

Scrambled Egg: I've only done one of these and will be sending it to you as a "Thank You"
for putting this all together and coordinating everything.

I want to do this if it is still open to joining. I want to make sure I've got it right though.

30 granny squares
6 x 6 finished size
normal colors, that would go with "most" households,
and we need to have them done by?

Thanks, i really hope I am not too late.
