I got the pattern online at crochetpatterncentral. I actually tried about 6 patterns before I settled on this one. I started like 5 or 6 patterns and ended up having to rip them all out because they didn't look right. I'm somewhat still a beginner crocheter. Although, I still have to finish a afghan that I was making for my grandma for this past Xmas. It was one of those mile-a-minute afghans. I have on that I think 7 sections made and need nine. Then when I am done have to sew it all together. Here is the pattern on that one.

Wow!!! We are getting some really pretty stuff on here!

I would love to see a close up of the rooster afgan and know where it came from and those burgundy and cream strips are beautiful!!!

I love the soft yarn, my grandma made me 2 afghans out of it for my birthday. they are my absolutely fav. i wish i had some of that yarn. i just want to use what i have before i buy more. that and jared might not like me buying more if i don't need it.

I started on my first little square today! Ok so I FINALLY mastered the buillion stitch. I swear I dont have any more hair to yank. Those boogers are NOT easy!!!!

Lori, that rooster afghan is to die for!!! Wow!!Super nice!!! And Kim, you are a crocheting wild thang!!! That runner looks great!!! Thief...I tried that bullion stitch, alot of trouble and I didnt really like the way it worked up, not so pretty, just doing alot of traditional grannies and alot of squares with the "v" stitch...I am planning on doing 2 full sets, one with the grannies and one with the v stitches. Here is just a traditional granny pattern is anyone needs it but ya'll seem to be hooked (pun intended!) into the main free pattern sites..check lionbrand.com too...alot of nice stuff there..here's the granny..http://www.jpfun.com/patterns/free/granny_squares/f101001basicgranny.shtml

Today is the last day for sign up!!!!! Off the fence today folks!!!!! Signup today or it will be Fall probably before we do it again....get everyone recruited today ya'll!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Fun, fun, fun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! See all the new friends you are making already??!! Are ya'll thinking about what you make everyone's squares into? I'm seriously thinking that bag of Jacie's for me!!!

You guys are doing good! I have to start on mine today! I started one yesterday but don't like it, gonna frog it. Ribbit Ribbit. lol

So, now that I see we can do any pattern and not just the basic basic plain ole granny, it'll be easier!

PS-I have asthma and don't do well with cig. smoke. Is there a possiblity that Scrambledegg, you could keep them all seperate?
Then again, I suppose it would only keep me from working with them until the end and then I could wash them? Hmm.....I don't want to be picky.. What do you guys think?
