alrighty!!!
Ill do my 20 + whatever I come up with then. Any specific colors or dosnt that matter? I have lots of odds and ends of yarn or do you want them all to be the same color??
I love to crochet. Brings back lots of wonderful memories of my grand ma!

TB1 - I don't think color makes a difference at all.


I'm still around folks, still working on the same square I was working on three days ago.

Hatch day came, I had to help a baby out - I had 3 born on Monday, then when I was getting ready to clean out the bator one of the last two eggs I thought made a noise - turned out another baby I had to help and she now has a bum leg.... its heart breaking. I have 4 tiny babies now - and one that needs extra attention, I'm working part time as well, and it seems now I have a sick horse...

oh gees girl! Whats wrong with the horse???
It always seems when one thing goes..all H breaks loose with everything!
This week the frig. died, hay supplier decided to sell our remainder of our hay down south to get big bucks for it and THEN I had wheel bearings go out in my explorer on both fronts.
When it rains, it certainly pours!!!

OH MY Darlene. I hope you got to see more of AZ than Sun City. That place is like a big cemetery with all the concrete and don't try to tangle with any of the residents in a grocery store. They'll run you over either with their cars or their grocery carts! They don't like interlopers! LOL!

We lived in Glendale (a suburb of Phoenix) for 20 years but now we are 80 miles north in the Verde Valley with a beautiful river and trees and a town of 24,000. Mountains all around us. Wonderful people and QUIET!! I just couldn't take the big city anymore.


We are close to Sedona, Flagstaff, Prescott.

Yes, life is good and I'm going to enjoy it while I can. LOL!

Yesterday was our anniversary but Ty is in Prescott for a meeting so I'm going over tonight for his retirement reception and dinner. Should be nice.

TB1 you are so right on!! We have had two big screen t.v.s go out on us withing the past two months...old projector styles. We have been drooling over the flat-wall-mounted ones but don't think we will get one until that BIG gov. check comes in. LOL

I hope your horse is ok? What is wrong with it?

Why don't things happen one at a time? Hope things slow down a bit for you.... I have 18 horses, so I am totally empathetic....

Got 8 squares done!!! YAY!! Might even be able to contribute more than 20!!

Wildsky, you were posting at the same time I was!!
Do you have any electrolytes for the horse? If Lite Salt is easier to get, you can use that. Mix a dose with applesauce, and Maalox if you have some, and put it in a syringe, and squirt it in her mouth like a paste wormer, a couple of times. As long as she is drinking a little bit, this is safe. Check for fever, too.

Yes I do have electrolites, but they've been on a shelf in the garage all winter..... do you think its still good? I have two syringes full still in the boxes.
