So any how. well I got an idea yesterday, while crocheting, thats when I get some really good ideas, I decided to take and make an incubator out of my broken oven and an electric skillet. I cleaned out the oven real good and sat the skillet upside down on the top rack, and then set it on 100 dagrees, set a pan of water on the bottom of the oven and set the eggs on thin cloth on the middle rack. we will see how it goes, if it works out i will have a incubator that will hold 200 eggs. how cool is that:eek:

well gotta go work up more neat ideas, hope ya'll er have a good day!

Jacie thats to cool, do you know where surprise, Az. is?
When I was still in high school (BarryGoldWater high) I had a after school job at an ice cream and purified water shop. It was a neat experience. And we went to Sudona, for a weekend and you know that rock slide that everybady goes to swim at, I went down it with my southern cut off shorts thinking i was cool and ended up with cuts all over my hindend.

boy was it a long walk to school that monday). And the first week we were there me and my stepdad stayed by the pool all day and ended up so sunburned

that we couldn't hardly move, after that we invested in sunblock inventory. I really did enjoy Az. it was the first time i ever saw a real cati up close everyone thought i was strange because i wanted to touch it to see if it was real.

Ok its been a few sence I last hooked. I sat down today and started working. I had my yarn, a new hook and a course a new bag to put my work in. (I could not find the old one

) I went to read the pattern and found out I needed a refresher couse....then I started to work and need to learn all over again. .....After lots of blue air I throw the pattern on the floor and just started going for it. 6 rows later I had a 6" sq.

LOL SO I am working with out a pattern but the color I picked has lots of meaning to me. I have 5 done now and will work some more tonight.

I think I will print up some little cards and put my name and info on them and tie them to all my sq's. That way folks will know where they came from.

oh thats such a good idea, I hope i get one of you squares. I just love to hook, it was something my grandmother did when I was little till the day before she died in 2002, we would sit in the den in front of the fire place and she would tell us storys while she crocheted, I have 6 of what I call story blankets, that she did over the years while she told us storys, each stitch has a story to be told and thats what I do at night when I but the girls to bed I set in the rocking chair and crochet while I tell them a story. And now my oldest is 7 years and asked me last night if I would teach her to crochet, as soon as she was asleep I went to my room and said a prayer to thank my grandma for teaching me something that would bring me closer to my kids and also help to preserve the good ole days of the past. So all ya'll out there with kids that crochet say a special thank you to the lord above for providing us with a way to care on the good things that are going by.
chicken farm waydago kudos to you. and thank you for bring up special memories for me. keep'em going ya'll:ya

I learned way back when I was a kid from my Grandma who since passed in 92, I started an afghan when I was pregnant with one of my kids, and didn't do it again til two years ago. Since I started up again I got one afghan done for my hubby and one started over half way done, and now started this project. It's so relaxing to do this. Thanks for the invite ozark hen.
