crock pot recipes .. can you share some please (looking for beef stew)

I am looking for a beef stew recipe for the crock pot...I need to be able to throw everything in at 7am and have a wonderful thick stew by 5.

I dont have time to pre cook everything (kinda defeats the point of the crock pot)
I cant mix the cornstarch mixed with cold water about 3 hours before... (no one is home)

whats can I do?... do you have one you would like to share?

Easy to make!

# 2 lbs of beef cubed for stew
# 1/2 teaspoon salt
# 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
# 1 clove garlic, minced
# 1 bay leaf
# 1 teaspoon paprika
# 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
# 1 onion, chopped
# 1 1/2 cups beef broth
# 3 potatoes, diced
# 4 carrots, sliced
# 1 stalk celery, chopped
# 1 large can of V8 juice

Cover, and cook on Low setting for 10 to 12 hours, or on High setting for 4 to 6 hours.

Here's mine I made the other day! I have a 5qt crockpot so you might have to adjust based on how big yours is...

2+ lbs Stewing beef (thawed or not)
1/2 bag of baby carrots
1 sliced onion
4-6 yellow potatoes (prewashed)
1 packet of McCormick's beef stew seasoning mix
enough water to cover the bottom of the crock pot
a dash of worchestershire sauce
a little ketchup

Cook on low for 9 to 10 hours

This feeds hubby and I for a few dinners and lunches!

I've done that one too but I use the beefy onion with a can of cream of mushroom soup to make a beefy/mushroom gravy roast--GREAT with mashed potatoes!
