Crockpot Incubator Saga III: Shipped Quails Eggs...?!

We haven't even used a normal incubator in a while. Well successfully that is. The last time we tried to use an incubator we bought 6 Narragansett turkey eggs. We candled them and only one was possibly fertile. Then we had a power outage and candled again and only one of them was fertile. We gave it to our broody hen and she got to hatch out a turkey poult and raise her!

My incubator only fits 7 standard eggs and 13 bantam/quail eggs, so I really am fascinated by this crockpot incubator because I suffer from chicken math :,)

Day 5
Most are actually developing, lots of veins! 2 are looking to be yolkers and one may have quit. It’s a bit hard to see what I’m looking at because the embryos are under the air cell due to being incubated upright.

My 7 qt crockpot fits 12 chicken eggs comfortably, the 2 qt... maybe 6?
