CROCS! YES OR NO?

I love my Crocs, just guessing I have around 10 pair, I wear mine everywhere especially around the chickens because the soles are so easy to clean with a wire brush when you come out of the run. and when I wash them, I put a coat of clear Kiwi polish on them to make them look good again. : )

I have never heard of them, but now I have seen some photos of them I know what you are talking about.
I had something like that many years ago, when I was pretty small, for walking on the rocks down at our river.
And they didn't work for that! All the rocks and pebbles just found their way in though the holes, and was even more uncomfortable then bare feet.

My foot wear is;
A pair of work boots for around the property
A newer pair of work boots for wearing to town
A pair of riding boots of the lace up kind, just good dule purpose ones
And wellington boots for when it rains, or the river is up in winter.

I really want a good pair of work boots. Right now I have some cheap rain boots from TSC. I have weatherproof hiking boots that I wear for working in the yard, heavy rain, construction around the property, etc. Any recommendations on work boots?

Sorry, I'm in Australia, and I'm guessing you are not, so I can't really help there.
Here if you go to shops that sell all the things that workers need, like a hi-vis jackets and things they have different sorts.

Ahhh got it! Yeah, we have those stores too but there's so many brands. Thanks for the response anyway!

Red wing is a good brand of work boots. My dad used them alot. We actually have a store here for them. Granted where I live Dow is 15 to 20 minutes from me and Conoco Phillips is 30 minutes from me and there are many more small processing plants around here.

From now on I'm gonna be doing a saturday poll so this is the first.

I’d never wear them in public, but they’re great slip-on shoes for running out to do chicken chores! They’re particularly helpful for when the yard is flooded with water and I don’t want to walk around a puddle.
So I just walk through the puddle.

Meh. I believe they’re a shoe to be worn at home. Never, ever, in public. Of course, this is just my opinion..
