It's when there isn't enough water for it to drain out. It doesn't dump out well, so they're still damp. That's when it usually happens, at least for me. I much prefer to wear muck boots or sandals that actually strap on.Mine do too but that’s never happened to me. The water just flows back out of them
Well, you would have the same problems with flip-flops or sandals. I guess they aren't for everyone and they certainly aren't for everywhere.1. The bumpy soles hurt my feet and make them peel.
2. Mosquitoes can and will bite you through the holes, which is painful and embarrassing looking.
3. You get sunburnt through the holes.
4. If your feet get wet and you continue to walk in them you'll fall and sprain your foot.
5. The handle thing gives me blisters.
6. It looks even weirder to wear them with socks.
7.

Sorry guys.![]()
My sandals are like the keen ones. I can wear them to wade in water, and they never slosh or slip, and don't fall off. Much much better. I don't like flip flops either.Well, you would have the same problems with flip-flops or sandals. I guess they aren't for everyone and they certainly aren't for everywhere.
I love wearing socks and Crocs! Even while out on the water. It looks even weirder to wear them with socks.
