Crooked ankle-foot

I wondered if there was possibly something else wrong. She was stuck in the egg for a long while and had not pipped more in 12 hours so it could have been something else but she made it a long while after hatching. It is super sad to lose one. She was a pretty thing. Thank you for the condolences.

Did you track her weight?

Not from the start. I could tell she started losing weight when she was bandaged so would let her have time to move around after I took it off every day and had her massage. I encouraged eating and drinking and though I saw her at the food and water with the others, I don't know how much she was really taking in. I think she liked having the bandage on more than not. Maybe it kept her from hurting so much when she moved but the 2 days after removing it I think she lost a lot of weight and I was thinking about tubing when I found her dead. I think she was so dehydrated and of course, it doesn't take much with these littles for them to go down. I certainly need to be more vigilant and quick.
