I have a 4 year old hen. A while back she developed a hole in her upper beak just below the nose. I don't know how this happened. I don't know if it is an injury or if some sort of fungus caused it. I haven't done any thing to it. The beak has now curled upward at a sharp angle. The lower beak does not appear affected in any way. She still eats and drinks ok and appears healthy overall. She does act like it causes pain if it gets bonked, otherwise she seems OK. My question is will her beak ever repair itself? Anybody have any experience like this?
