So this is J Cole, he was born with his beak like this and we didn’t really notice it until he got older. He’s a few months now and it just looks like it’s getting worse. Any tips on what to do? Does it hurt him? Will he live a happy life like this? He still eats and drinks fine, always has a full crop at the end of the night. Just we’ve never had a bird with such a crooked beak!

He will be fine if he can eat and drink by himself! I have three crossbeaks and they all are living happy lives. You won't be able to breed him though because it can be genetic. He is very cute! ❤️

Yep. It's called cross beak.
As long as he's eating and drinking well, he will be fine. Some people trim the beak a bit (professionally), but I wouldn't do it if it doesn't seem to be bothering him.

I'm pretty sure this trait can get passed on, so I would be careful not to breed with him...

He is gorgeous though! (: ❤️
