Crooked beak

One of our new baby chicks has a crooked bottom beak. Any clues to why this could have happened? And do you think she will survive? She does eat, but is half the size of the others.
 
Looks like scissor beak. I don't know much about it but I read an article about it on The Chicken Chick. They can live with it but require quite a bit of human intervention to do so. If the chicken is for livestock purposes only (I.e. Not a beloved pet) then you may want to consider culling. Otherwise, look up scissor beak and see if you think you can do the 'handicap' care the chicken will need. Good luck!
