Crooked neck quail

I have a quail with a crooked neck. It's almost two weeks old, and it's becoming more obvious. I used to just think it was looking up at me, that's why it's side ways. Sometimes they do that, when they really look at you. It can move it's head fine. It behaves normal, eats and drinks like the others. But in the "normal" position, it's like it has scoliosis. Anyone seen that before? They are not flying yet, so I can't imagine injury.

It could be wry neck? I think if you give them a vitamin supplement it might fix the neck. There are quite a few threads about wry neck that go into detail. Good luck!

vitamin E helps if you mix it in with their food. if you do that, make sure that you don't give them it after it is healed as I heard it can cause a buildup. not sure what that means exactly but it sounds ominous. if it is head damage, prepare to either cull, or have a special needs bird. i have one that got head damage, and it's neck still hasn't straightened out.
