Crooked toe on 3 day old chick

Anyone know what the matter is here and what I should do for him? Limping a bit but still able to walk.

You can try taping the toes in a normal position, but if you wait much longer, it may not help. Here is a good link that shows how to make a shoe:

Thank you for the link. I've tried to make a shoe for him but I'm unable to by myself. There won't be anyone home for hours. Is there a way to get it done without someone else helping? He won't hold still long enough for me to do it.

Poor baby!! I have a chicken that has crooked toes she was going to the back room so I offered to take her for a dollar. She now gets around pretty good. I am glad I got her she is a hoot and she is my best climber. Good luck with her

I'm glad you managed to save that chick. Thank you. This little fella has many issues but I'm already seeing improvements. She's very vocal and is constantly chirping away.
