Anyone know what the matter is here and what I should do for him? Limping a bit but still able to walk.

Thank you for the link. I've tried to make a shoe for him but I'm unable to by myself. There won't be anyone home for hours. Is there a way to get it done without someone else helping? He won't hold still long enough for me to do it.You can try taping the toes in a normal position, but if you wait much longer, it may not help. Here is a good link that shows how to make a shoe:

I'm glad you managed to save that chick. Thank you. This little fella has many issues but I'm already seeing improvements. She's very vocal and is constantly chirping away.Poor baby!! I have a chicken that has crooked toes she was going to the back room so I offered to take her for a dollar. She now gets around pretty good. I am glad I got her she is a hoot and she is my best climber. Good luck with her
