We were moving our chicks out to their coop when we noticed one of the NHRs had an air filled crop. Do I need to do anything or will it go away on its own? Chick is 7 wks old and seems to be fine otherwise.

Funky is eating, drinking and acting normal otherwise.
This morning I hung him upside down and massaged his crop. He vomited up what looked and smelled like feed and water. It didn't smell bad so I don't think this is a case of sour crop. I separated him and have given acv water. I felt his crop fairly extensively and didn't feel any mass that could be causing a blockage, but gave grit anyway just in case. It seems to bother me more than him.

Was the crop full in the a.m. before he had anything to eat/drink?

Having a source of grit available free choice is best, you can offer purchased poultry grit (crushed granite) or access to soil - most birds can find suitable pebbles/small stones. If the crop is emptying overnight (it's flat in the morning) then generally this would not be a crop problem. If it is an air bubble, then seeking vet care would be best.

Here's a very good article on crop issues:
