My 2yr old hen,an Amberlink, always has her drop full! In fact, she's worn feathers off from where she drags it on the ground when she's foraging! Is this unhealthy? Or just her 'shape' ( full and rounded)???

This is very unhealthy for her as she will starve to death if not treated soon.

Impacted crop is an emergency and needs immediate treatment.

How does her crop feel, is it hard or rather soft and squishy? Does she smell sour?

When did you last de-worm your chickens?

What are you feeding your chickens?

You might want to separate her in a dogcrate or wire cage without bedding or food. Only grit and Coca Cola instead of water.

Then carefully administer some lactulose or Dulcolax tablet and massage gently while holding her upright. Repeat several times a day and monitor her poop.
