Four months ago, my Anacauna got an impacted crop (age 7months). I took her to the vet, had the crop flushed and put her on antibiotics as she appeared to also have another issue that did get resolved after a week of treatment. Up to this point, she was laying an egg a day.

Upon returning her to the flock of four other chickens, she became a target for being henpecked especially by the lead hen (no rooster involved here). This is still going on four months later. She used to be quite bubbly and talkative and is now sullen, keeps away from the flock and her tail feathers droop.

Since the crop issue, she doesn't lay. Every day, she goes into the coop to lay an egg, pants and carries on like she is going to lay an egg but then doesn't. Now, she has begun pecking the eggs of other chickens.

Any ideas on how to resolve this?

This may be more than a crop issue, since she's struggling to lay, it sounds like it may be an egg issue like internal laying, which I unfortunately know little about. Does her crop feel fine, empty and refill every day? Is her abdomen (Area between her legs, not her crop area) feel swollen? Any sign of egg on her rear end?

no sign of egg, her crop is fine. Thank you for these thoughts. I'm thinking I need to get back to the vet who treated her on this.
