Four months ago, my Anacauna got an impacted crop (age 7months). I took her to the vet, had the crop flushed and put her on antibiotics as she appeared to also have another issue that did get resolved after a week of treatment. Up to this point, she was laying an egg a day.
Upon returning her to the flock of four other chickens, she became a target for being henpecked especially by the lead hen (no rooster involved here). This is still going on four months later. She used to be quite bubbly and talkative and is now sullen, keeps away from the flock and her tail feathers droop.
Since the crop issue, she doesn't lay. Every day, she goes into the coop to lay an egg, pants and carries on like she is going to lay an egg but then doesn't. Now, she has begun pecking the eggs of other chickens.
Any ideas on how to resolve this?
