Frustrating, yes. I am up to check on m NH Red that was wheezing for a couple hours yesterday. It stopped late afternoon. She is the one I drained a month ago. Her abdomen was full of fluid. She has been ok, great actually, til yesterday.

If you haven't tried the Dulcolax (stool softener, not laxative) that may do the trick. I only gave her 1 because ahe is so tiny. Yours is much bigger. That is what helped my chickie break up everything inside her, and let everything pass right thru. Last night when my chick went to sleep, her crop was not liquidy, or squishy. This was the first night that it felt pretty normal. I will know in about 1/2 an hour when I go get them out to out them in their chunnel.

I gave her 15 ml of the epsom salt solution. I will check and see if i have any dulcolax. She is back in the crate but when i knelt down to put her in she began to vomit. Hopefully she kept most of the epsom salt in. Im feeling really defeated

Seems to even have passed some small shavings in her droppings last night! I am hoping that their is no other blockage down lower to cause any other problems.

She and her sister will be kept on concrete in their chunnel until all signs of danger have passed for this little one. They are still getting a small amount of greens finely grated and chopped.

I will check back to see how everyone else is doing.

Thank you everyone for your advice, kind words, and love
