Soo happy you're girl is doing so well!!, keep an eye on her crop for a few more weeks to be on the safe side that everything's back to normal, but most importantly enjoy her!!. You truly made a miracle happen with your love and care that you showed you girl, she's lucky to have you!!!, best of luck to you both and may you have her for many many happy years!!
Update ! My girl Sunny is just a piggy, when I removed the food for the night she woke up empty! What a relief. When the others go to bed with a golf ball size crop, she had a softball. I should probably watch her over eating if the future right? I plan to put only a daily ration in once they are all laying. Right now I have 3 14 week olds that are still bullied by the 20 weekers and I want to make sure they eat enough. Thanks for all the replies!
This morning she's really spunky and came running out of the coop. Yesterday she stayed in the coop when I came out to open it so I knew something was wrong. Her crop is flat and I'm letting her eat. She's eager to eat and drink. Hopefully if I keep the food full she will be ok. If this happens again I'm goinf to assume pendulous crop and I will try a bra
Boy she is FIESTY today. She's running all around trying to escape the run and is making her place in the pecking order. Also exciting news today is day 20 for my ebay silkie eggs. My broody is on them. I saw 1 pip. Hopefully more pip today ♡
