Crop not filling up?

Ok, I am giving her one aqua mox a day. I will go give her another.

Also, I don’t have the permethrin on hand, can I use DE? I know everyone says that stuff is useless, but doesn’t hurt to ask. Thank you so much 🙏
Also, that poop is the first in awhile that has had any substance to it. She has been eating grass while out with her flock.

All right, I’m just going to journal this as things happen, in case someone else can benefit. I’m sure the experts are getting tagged every 5 minutes by so many people, and although I’m grateful for every ounce of information, I realize there are others in need. Not to mention their lives and all 🤣

I decided not to use the de because I don’t want to possibly give her respiratory issues on top of everything else. We did have pellet stove ash, so we smeared it over every inch of her little body, with a double dosing on her butt. I also sprinkled the ash in the tank she is in.

I gave her another aqua mox, which was a double dose for her today. I gave her more egg yolk, a piece of bread and more Gatorade. She has food and water. I will call the vet tomorrow for the fecal float results; I never heard back from them today.

We are really pulling her, she is really hanging in there, but if things don’t look better somewhere in the next day or two, we will pull the plug, don’t need to prolong the suffering.

I will go for the Permethrin tomorrow.

We did not go the penicillin route, as it had actually been thrown out, but I did do the extra aqua mox. I will keep giving her one a day, how many total days should I give her those?

She is drinking water on her own, but I will continue making sure she is hydrated.

Thank you 🤗

Amoxicillin dose is 57mg per pound of weight given orally twice a day for 7-10 days.
Does she seem to be improving a little with the antibiotics at all?
Well, she has improved *slightly*, in that she isn’t quite as wobbly. But she could still be blown over by a strong wind.

She eats and drinks on her own, and the poop today was really the first I’ve seen that had any substance at all to it. Her eyes are bright, if not droopy at times.

Thank you for asking 😊
