Crop question on 2 week old Silkies????????

Me and the mrs felt these soft lumps on the right side of both chicks chests, looking it up, it appears to be the crop, should these be filling up or what should their condition be normally?...

As they eat through out the day they will fill up and should be quite full by the time they go to bed at night. They should be empty by morning, but if not, then there may be some impaction issues.

Thank you, I hadn't checked them yet this morning, just did and it's almost non-existant!!!!...That is neat, they have so many kewl lil processes and functions, I feel like I'm back in biology class but enjoying it this time!
