Crop?

being new to chickens--I need to know what a normal crop feels like? size? shape? feels like?? Any thing you can tell me..thank you Dixie

Normally they will feel sorta mushy. After the birds pig out they will be big and hard.

Nothing says happy chicken like a bulging crop.

I thought a mushy crop was bad? I thought it's squishy when it's sour? I'm trying to figure out if mine is normal or not. I am a novice at this.
