Crops: How big/full is too big/full?

I posted earlier this morning about my hen feeling a bit off. I have checked her crop compared to those of her yard-mates, and hers is full but still squishy. I can feel individual kernels and things in there. I would say larger than a golf ball but smaller than a softball.....any advice? I have not put scratch grains in the yard since yesterday.

a big crop just means she is full. my light brahma eats a lot and her crop is always full compared to the others lol

As long as it's not big and full when she comes out of the coop in the morning, things should be OK. Look her over first thing tomorrow . . .

Checked her this morning, and her crop is smaller, but not empty. It is hard at the bottom, and I can feel some crunchy bits in there. I closed her up in the coop again and gave some yogurt and ACV in her water. We are out of olive oil, but I will go get some. No smell or anything. Any other advice?

The weirdest thing is that she is not "talking" like normal.
