Hi- I just noticed today (and I spend a lot of time with my chicks), that my 13 week old silkie is developing cross beak, there were no signs of it before now/recent. 1) Does this look like a severe case? 2) Will it progress in severity? 3) Is there anything I can do to help correct it? I have been reading that some people try different things but I also don’t want to hurt or injure her further. Thank you in advance!

Doesn't look as severe as I've seen in photos and threads here on BYC.
Will it progress in severity? Possibly - this is sort of a wait and see kind of thing.

As far as I know, it can't be corrected, but you can take steps to help her along if she's struggling - a deeper dish to eat out of, wet feed, trimming/shaping the beak as needed.

I would not breed her.
