Cross Continental Friends!!!

I actually found out in February, but hadn't revealed it yet, was waiting for the first ultrasound, I am rather happy about it! A wonderful present in this time of loss for us, I just hope I get a turn to hold the baby, my mom can be kinda baby greedy!

Goodnight Bill, Sleep well.

I don't know about a gazillion attributes but I hear and very much appreciate what you are saying.I think I will do both, parents will have to put up with me a bit longer but they say they don't mind. Thanks for the encouragement, God must have given you quite the skill of seeing the good in others.

Sweetie, it's not hard to see the good in you. You are bright and very special. Take my word for it. Go for everything you want and never let anyone discourage you.

It certainly is a special gift after what your family has been through.

Let your Mom be baby-greedy, being a grandmother is wonderful.....but being an aunt is very special too. You will love it....and your neice/nephew will have lots and lots of childhood memories of their crazy Aunt Megan.

Just went out and checked on my babies, who have only recently been put in outdoor pens.

Found that half of my 7-wk-old Silver Laced Wyandottes found their way up onto their perch. The others were trying to figure out how!

LOL! Crazy Aunt Megan! I can't wait, your right I should let her be a bit greedy. Thank you for chatting with me and all your kind words of comfort and encouragement! My little sister has decided to sleep in my bed tonight so I have to scoot and turn the lights out. Goodnight and I hope you have a wonderful evening!

Wow!! What gorgeous birds they are! And that is cute them looking up at the others like " How did you do that!?!?"

Aunt, bah! My niece won't even talk to me and it crushes my heart. She's only 2 and a bit and I spent an entire week with her in February and no nada.
I accidentally took one too many allergy pills today and wound up taking a nap. Also sold a bunny and cleaned up a bit. Very boring day, only 94 and windy so actually pleasant. Have to feed lambs, chicks, and family then I am done.

My daughter drives an older Mercedes SUV. We were in a major car accident, which is why I walk like a grandmother, and my husband came to the conclusion that no child of his was going to drive a small car. That's fine except he is driving what someone described as the truck you want to have when Armageddon comes and it gets horrible fuel economy. We are looking at a hybrid, either a Prius (it's hard to type that, honestly) or a Honda civic hybrid. We would love to have a Volkswagen diesel but they are extremely expensive. And yes, driving age is 16 and the car is an automatic though my dad taught my daughter how to drive a manual transmission the last time she visited and she already knew how anyway. My daughter has been driving things, the tractor, the ATV, a motorcycle, the boat, and the occasional car for many, many years now. It is not my daughter I worry about but other drivers. If they would all just get off the road and let her go by I would be content!
I planted potatoes today and cleaned out part of the goat barn. The weather actually chose to rain but it was not hard or cold. You all should have seen me running as I was drying clothes on the line outside. Our old dog, she didn't even wake up for the rain but lay sleeping in it. Her name is Zowie, from an old cartoon my daughter liked, and the dog is 17 while the daughter is 16! Of course the cat is old enough to vote, she is 18 and will be 19 at some point this year.

How are those potatoes doing?
