HaHa! Uh oh-you or your wife? Anyone ever see that documentary called my life as a turkey? Really good, one of my fav's !

me too qwackers operation over fowl as my wife and i call it lol was three months in the planning, here there exist no pure lines most of what is available to us is all cross breed mutts out of the local game fowl very poor layers and small meatless eating machines, so i decided to take matters into my own hands. so i started researching incubators and techniques for mechanical incubation ,i ordered incubators and had them sent to my sons home in Ohio used byc to locate premium stock then i  flew up to the U.S to pick it all up i hope to hatch at least the breeding trios needed to establish a breeding flock we are pretty exited about the whole thing it has been a fun journey

Wow good for you that's such a great thing to be doing. We considered Turkey's too but they are so ugly I wouldnt really want to look at them!

Soooo, what do I do on a very rainy day? Take pictures of course and spend a few hours uploading them!!! The babies decided to hang out in front of my bedroom window today so a
perfect shot! More pictures of the little babies, some shots of our friendly squirrel that hangs out with the chickens and my mushroom garden today!!! Notice how much bigger it is? And the adult bird pictures are Abbey last fall.

No my life as a turkey is about a guy that raises some wild turkeys and they think he is there mother, he raises them in the woods and all the way to adult hood. I'll see if I can find a link for it. And look forward to the pics!
