Hey Nancy! We have our three dogs for pets and a cat and I have a guinea pig. I ended up keeping my favorite rabbits so I still have six of them as well. The only chicks I have are cochin bantam chicks, very beautiful colors. I'll have to get some pictures of them. Oh and the ducks, i love my ducks, even more than I do the chickens. We might visit some friends this Saturday and then my brother is coming over Sunday for Fathers Day. Hopefully, tomorrow some ancona ducklings will hatch that I want to buy. How about you? Are you doing anything special this weekend?

Well, by your standers my day would be very boring. My sons want me out more! I'll be wrapping presents for Dad. Taking care of everyone, is more fun to me than shopping. I do enjoy enjoy volunteering at St. Vincent's Thrift Store.

Soft and sort of like your lips. Their not to crazy about touching them but my girls don't mind as much. What do you have? I can't believe they posted! After all the trouble I had! How are you, what are you doing/ gonna do today? Not to much here, wrapping present for the hubby! That was a pic. of their ride home. Thank god hubby though to pack 2 carriers. I didn't plan on picking so many. He did it knowing I would. So he says! Men, I got to love em!

I think your day sounds nice, I don't really like shopping either, but I go along. Figure I'm to young to become anti-social yet, I can do that in five more years.

What are the two chickens in the first picture in the carrier? Are they the golden and silver wyandottes? And they chicks are adorable.

Heck the Chinese consumers don't buy Chinese products what's that tell ya ?

Actually, I was listening to a bbc report a week or so ago discussing that very thing. They said that the number one thing people are sending to relatives in china from outside the country is baby formula. The Chinese government is limiting the number of cans a Chinese citizen can get from outside the country to something like two cans a week. Apparently the fears over contamination in food are so great that a lucky few are able to get formula for their infants from outside the country.
Hey, here's a profit increasing idea, put crap in our baby formula and poison the kiddies! Just like that scandal and all those poisoned kiddies from before!

Ouu strange. they are lovely looking. I was amazing at how ducks feet are really warm and soft. I dont have any chickens but wouldn't mind some in the future. I currently have 5 runner ducks I hatched, they are about 8 weeks old and huge. They are called Mr t, scrumpy, Ethel, spotty and lucky. I also have 3 adult ducks I got stupidly thinking my eggs wouldn't hatch, they are Aylesbury female - jemima, Cayuga male randy and their daughter victim 1. And I have a 2 year old black cat called called ozzy and 2 kittens, ones tortoishell called tippy and the other is long haired ginger who still doesn't really have a proper name!

Busy day here I had to go out and get a load of shopping as I stupidly agreed to do dinner for everyone tomorrow, cost a fortune! So I'm havin a break at the mo. Just made choc brownies for my cookie dough and brownie bombs. So letting the brownies cool and the dough balls set. Also attempting kfc style chicken, so I've made up the coating ready and have the chicken pieces in salt water at the mo. Also have to make a gypsy tart, homemade coleslaw, chips and a dip. Urgh! Why do I do this to myself!? Really wanted to do some family history but dont think I'll have time and like you I still have gifts to wrap. Sigh.

What is the mo? If your kfc chicken comes out tastes like the real stuff send me the recipe! Why do u brine the chicken?
I marinate in butter milk. DH is working night s, he will be up at 11am and gos in at 4pm for 12 hrs. He works a 12 hr day, he doesn't sleep well so he's tired night s. 2wks night s 2wks days.

He's a supervisor at a Paper Mill. He's been working there since 1974. But it's been thru diff. owners and has been closed for a few yr's just a yr 1/2 ago. It's hard because there's not much up here. If we lived in the southern end he'd have more places to chose from. He just turned 62, so old

and he went to the hospital as a security guard for 3 yr's at under 10. hr. It was hard to make ends meet because I'm disabled and my meds are so expensive medicare's pill part will not pick me up so I have to take what the State can get me and if you hear those's ad's if you can't afford your medication such & such may be able to help. It mess's me up cuz it's not always what the dr. ordered.
