The clerk at the feed store entered the amount the feed cost into the register wrong and came up with $727.00! I asked her to double check and she told me I had gotten a lot of feed and to expect it to be expensive. I told her that she was going to have to get it out of my car because I hardly had $225 and surely wasn't spending $700+ on feed. Yeah, that did it. It was actually $204 including tax. Don't argue with me, sweetie, I have been pretty **** broke in my lifetime and can add prices and sales tax up in my head like a friggin computer.
And kudos to me, the bunny barn is as close to spotless as it can get without pressure washing. Hooks hung in the kitchen window supporting my rainbow making crystal collection. Irrigation system better tweaked but needs a little more tweaking. House plants repotted. Hay stowed in hay barn. Feed stowed in cans. Chicken coop slightly tidied. Dishwasher churning, laundry churning, dinner eaten, and to top it all off I went out for lunch and kibitzing with a friend and read an entire book front to back, which always works best for English language books.
Tomorrow I will band the boys, clean on the chicken coop, work my paying job for 8 hours, pack my suitcase, tweak on the irrigation some more, and start packing the car. Oh, and fold laundry and refill the dishwasher.
Busy busy....
