Hey ya'll!
So why is it that we humans willingly torture ourselves? You know like when someone smells something they " Oh Gawd! That smells awful!! Here you smell it!" and the other person steps up and willingly smells it! Then the other people in the crowd are like " Ooh I want to smell next!" and next thing you know everyone has stuck there nose in the nasty smelly object! Or for example if something tastes bad or if you find something that mildly hurts, people will say " Oh hey! Come and try this!" and sure enough a line of people do, or my most recent experience....if something is painstakingly spicy! Today for lunch I made myself a tuna sandwich with jalapeno peppers. Only today we used the peppers from our garden, and it has been raining all the time recently and that has made the peppers, ...well.... BLAZING HOT!! So of course, me being the daredevil ( or moron, you may choose) I am decided to not only load her sandwich up, but also eat them individually. The sandwich was really good, spicy but good. The pieces I then proceeded to eat were also not that bad, the first one, not spicy at all, the second was spicy but like a normal jalapeno, the third not spicy .....but the fourth piece...the biggest piece.......was spicy !! i could have handled it and been fine, BUT I proceeded to cough and what happens when you cough on food? Especially something juicy like the pepper? That's right...it goes up your nose! So imagine this...18 year old me, running around the house, coughing eyes watering, being trailed by the kids who are laughing their heads off at me, red faced me trying to get the burning out of the back of my throat and my nose. Finally it was over, I pulled myself back together and needless to say any breathing issues I may have been having are now over. What's bad though is that I would do it again, I would sit back down and play how many hot pepper pieces can you eat again! So Thank You Pepper, for giving me a painful but surprisingly fun experience!
I was thinking about peppers and my FIL who accidentally put a jalapeño in his nose.
Karen
Feeling moderately better, don't get overheated you all, hear?!
X2, LOL!How to you accidentally stick a jalapeno up your nose!?
Whoa! Quite the time difference!Wow! Its only 7:09 here.
Ummm, does that mean what I'm thinking that means?who's knocking at my door in the middle of the night?
someone who has just remembered, after some years, of being a mother and a wife!
someone who can sleep on the couch tonight!
