crossed beak, missing eye??

I received an one-eyed crossbeaked Buff Orp which got through quality control at the hatchery. They were very apologetic and gave me a credit for the chick. I may need to cull her, but my husband insisted we give her a chance. She's actually a bit larger and seems to be doing fine after a week. The cross beak appears to be getting more pronounced. We are just going to wait and watch. The grandkids call her Toopid.

What kind of chick is he? How does he seem otherwise? Is he strong?

I live in Mass and would take him if you want. He would be nothing but loved here

My crossbeak chick made it to 7 weeks. It just kept getting worse and she really acted starved. She died last week of starvation I assume. I wish I had culled immediately, but didn't know any better. I feel guilty that she suffered.
