I've done something similar, but with Easter Egger/Brahma X Malay. Except for the purpose of meat.
I saw the article was mostly on egg production.

I have shamo's and if I could speed them up a little bit with a cross of Nh, RI or a turken I would be even happier. I really like would be a heritage chicken with a longtail, I haven't seen any.
