Crossroads and the resurrection of the Oriental Club

Actually, if he's not going to be there to defend himself he should be made Secretary/Treasurer. Although that may be seen as mean.

saladin,

I am not into the Orientals, but would be willing to assist in the restart of the old club. Using the method that the Exhibition Turkey Fanciers has, as an internet based breed club, would make the expense almost nothing. Please let me know if I may be of any assistance.

I am going to that show and am interested in seeing the club restarted, but I don't have any time to serve as an officer.

Zach.....if you can win in Calif with your OE's, you can compete anywhere.

The Crossroads show will not be held in the same building this year as it was last time. The American Rabbit Breeders Associtaion will be holding their National Convention at the same time and they will be in the larger and naturally lighted buildings. The poultry show will be held in two smaller building without natural light.

Crossroads has only been held one time before and it was not the largest poultry show ever held in the US.

Both the first and second largest poultry shows for the US were The OHIO NATIONAL. Almost 13,000 birds in 1998, just short of 11,000 in 2002. In the top twenty largest US poultry shows ever held only two were not OHIO NATIONALS. Making it the Largest Annual Poultry show without question.

I understand. I have the same problem. This is also a bit early for my birds, even the bantam ducks.
I did breed some leghorn bantams for this show and they may be ready.
