I'd put it back, crows are social even if it looked alone it probably wasn't.

I am not going to advocate a wildlife rehabber for an American Crow or Fish Crow. Those resources better spent on species in trouble. All better served when novice at least learns in attempting to care for the crow. Pictures are needed, a video even better. Things need to move quickly. Odds are there is a health issue involved.
