So I got a rooster whose starting to crow. Wish I could keep him but can't due to our neighbors. Was thinking of a crow collar but don't think I can put it on him everyday. I read your supposed to take off at night. Has anyone had long term experience with it? Were you able to keep it on rooster for years? I cant see myself keeping up with it. My rooster will be going to a farm since no other way for me. Let me know your experwith crow collars

You could buy all the neighbors a good set of ear plugs. :lau
Have they complained already, or is this preventative? Only reason I ask is that my coop/run is only 25 feet from my house, and I can only barely hear my rooster if I'm at the closest window to the coop. If my neighbors ever complained, I'd buy them off with farm fresh eggs.;)

My neighbor is less then 25 ft away from my coop :/ yes thought of buying them off with eggs 😂 but I'm thinking since he's just starting to crow and right now he is still a juvenile, it might get worst. He last crowed 3 days ago. I think since he's still young that's why he doesnt crow everyday. He is a great guard for my pullets and keeps them in check.
