I have a 8wk old rooster I hatched, so I know for sure of age, he is at least twice size he should be. He is already tried crowing and knows he is a boy, at least tryn on smaller chicks. Isn't this very unusual?

Some boys are precocious. I have one of those myself. Crowed at two weeks, started chasing the girls at the same age. Hopefully yours will recover his senses soon.

Ah testosterone surges, so common this time of year. He is just feeling fine.

I had one roo crowing at 11 weeks and my other didn't until 6 months. Some just mature much faster.

What am I going to do? I had to put his father down because of aggression :-( I have been baby-n him anyone want an oversize golden comet rhode island red...hahahaha

I have a chick crow this afternoon...he just turned 3 weeks old today!!!

I had one that crowed last week at 6 weeks. He is the cutest thing!!!
