CROWING AGE

I have 2 cockerels that just started crowing today. They are large breeds.I hatched them from my eggs,so I'm not really sure what breeds they are,but I think I have a Dominique and white leghorn. And my other young roo I think is a Welsummer and Rhode Island red.I think they are about 4 months old. @Robin37

I have a White Sultan, who hatched early April, (April fools?).
He was purchased assuming to be a female of a different breed.
He started crowing at 4 mo..
1st a single tone, that made me wonder what was in my back yard.
Then two tones, and right in front of me, so I knew it was him.
As the days have gone on three tones, then four.
Eer- i - err - errrr! ....... LOL!

But actually, it's not so funny.
I have neighbors, who's sleep I'm infringing on.
He's friendly to me, and comes up to be petted at times.
Otherwise, he's going around trying to keep the 2 Orpington, and 1 Brahma females in line.
ATTENTION!......Last call
He is going to Magnolia Bird Farm in Corona Saturday @ 9:AM - 8/12.
That's tomorrow, if no one in the BYC community claims him first.

He will be sold or re-homed by them.
Here he is, sad to see him go, but I'm forced to.

Cool. I like to hear the different crowing sounds that roosters make
