Crowing Araucana Pullet, HELP!!!

I agree, it looks like a roo to me. To modify the old statement, "If it LOOKS like a roo and SOUNDS like a roo, it probably IS a roo." I hope you don't have to give away Stella.

Don't do anything drastic until you're certain!
I think it's too easy to jump to conclusions.

I would think you'd be able to rehome him if he turns out to be a him. He's lovely!

99% sure you have a very handsome EE rooster. Bummer for you, but someone will be delighted to give him a home if you run an ad on Craig's List.

from South Carolina!

ETA: I know you only asked about Stella, but I have to say that after reviewing the pics several times, you might have 3 roos in there. I really hope I'm wrong!

WHAT?????!!!! I really, really, really hope you are wrong too!!! I thought I was getting pullets. Is is really that hard to sex them???? This just only adds to my confusion, having never raised chickens before. Is the only sure-fire way to tell if you have a hen when the eggs show up????

I am super bummed right now.

This is why I say wait. Don't get too sad yet. Time will tell.
What was the 'crowing' noise like? One of my hens (who is definitely a hen) just made a crowingish noise. I ran outside to see who it was and it was definitely Over.

Yes, if they lay an egg, you know you have a hen! I have to agree with ranchhand,

especially on the black one (nice red wattles), but I'm hoping for you anyway. Sorry, and good luck.
