crowing at 11pm!

It is dark around 5pm and daylight again at about 7am just now. The cockerel normally starts crowing about 6am which is generally around when they get let out. They are shut in at anywhere from 6pm to 9pm.

Last night the cockerel started crowing at 11pm! He went at it for a good 20mins before he shut up. Why would this be?!

could be something disturbed his sleep or unsettled him.

My roosters crow all crazy times in the night sometimes, and when one starts they all take it in turns.
