Crowing hen?!?

How old is the polish I have a 5 month old polish hen/pullet with almost no wattle and a yellow comb, and your polish has a pink comb and large wattles. Also it's crest looks kind of roo like..

Thats what I was afraid of... it just made 13 weeks, so right about 3 months. The crest was looking so bob like I figured hen, but now looking at these pictures it looks a lot messier than it used to look.

Definitely a cockerel. He has a cockerel crest shape, large red wattles, and the beginning of rooster saddle and hackle feathers.

Ya, I would just watch to be positive but pretty sure he's a cockerel, is he a white-crested blue polish? If so you can look up pictures of males and females and try to compare them to yours. Best of luck though

My Ameraucana is trying to crow. She's coming up on 13 weeks old and barely has a comb at all! I bought her as a pulllet. I know mistakes happen, but I was so sure... Can y'all help confirm pullet or cockrell?

I don't have a rooster, so I know when there isn't a rooster sometimes a hen will take the rooster role. Is that what's happening here? Or do I need to rehome "him"?

I only have the one brown Ameraucana.

You don’t have to regime. I had an Easter Egger that started to crow but that only happened a few times and then just stopped. Scared me at first because it sounded more like an animal caught in a trap. LOL
