Crowing hen?

This is my adult laying hen crowing. Why? I thought it was rare for hens to crow. Is there any reason why she is doing it?

Sometimes without a rooster a hen will take on that role.

Which bird is it we are supposed to be hearing crow? The bird that appears to be the focus of the film (front and center) is a rooster, and I am not seeing/hearing any of the hens in the shot doing any crowing so I am not sure what is going on.

I'm not sure which hen it is so that's why I was not focusing on any particular bird. I doubt it's my rooster because his crow is very different. I'll post a vid of his crow in a sec

Oh my gosh - sorry, just had to share this. One of my girls is in sick bay (dog kennel on the table next to the computer). She was dozing off on her little temporary perch and I played your rooster crow. She was so startled that she let out a loud squawk and fell off the perch and landed on her backside. I probably shouldn't have laughed, but it was too funny!
