Crowing hens

Meyer Hatchery out of Ohio, I ordered all pullets.

They are almost 5 months old.

Did you get any hens?

I did, of the 7 hens I ordered 4 are definitely hens. So now I'll be hunting for a new home for the three.

I'd be contacting Meyer and complaining. I'm okay with the occasional Oops cockerel, but 3 out of 7 is too much. course, they're not going to do much besides give you a credit for the price of the pullet chicks, you're still out the feed, etc over the last few months, plus you're stuck with cockerels you have to get rid of.
