Hi all u quail people. I have coturnix quail, 2 boys 1 girl and another pair. I also have a little girl with deformed feet who I give lots of love and care to. Anyway, I did have the 2 boys and girl in the aviary together over Winter but now we are getting near Spring the Partay has started so I have had to separate the boys. He is temporarily in a cage next 2 my little girl and man is he crowing. As someone else said, it isn't an issue really..... except at 5.00am!!! Love quail 😊

I love them too! I got them for the first time over quarantine and they are such funny little things. My rooster Maurice (left) likes to launch himself into my hand and attack me, and crow lol. He may be angry all the time but I think its adorable. As for his cute girlfriend Clementine (right), she likes to stay quiet and hidden, she's not my biggest fan.

Yes, their crowing is... unique. I doubt on't think my neighbours will complain though, because I don't think they know what makes that sound 🤣
Besides, there's so many wild birds in my area that it doesn't really stand out.
