crowing questions..............

I only have two roosters starting to crow so far, and I have been very lucky with them. Both are silkies, and they ONLY crow a handful of times each right after I let them out of the coop.

So, they don't crow until around 9am, and they are done within the first 30 minutes. Plus, neither of them are very loud so you can hardly hear them at all from outside my yard or inside the house.

I have several others that are looking very suspicious, though, so I'm sure my rooster luck won't hold out forever!

On one hand, I want our rooster to crow until he can't crow anymore, and as loud as he can, because we have the loudest, most disrespectful neighbors anywhere. On the other hand, I want him to be pretty quiet so we are not part of the noise around here. Then again, the creeps next door and their friends will be the only ones who would be able to hear it. I guess we'll just wait and see. Thanks for all the input!!!!!!

You had me cracking up! I hope I can find a padded room, I mean coop, for him if that starts! :) He is just the sweetest boy ever! Unfortunately, my 4 year old named him "Peckerpoo" 11 weeks ago, and it hasn't changed............
